Birthday Card Competition

This week we launched a competition  to design a birthday card. The winning design will be made into birthday cards that will be sent to all children (and staff) in our school on their birthday. The  design must have the words Happy Birthday written on it. Any medium can be used: paint, felt tip, pencil, collage or ict graphics. Entries must be given to Mrs Furness or Mrs Hinings by the end of April.

Good luck.

Extreme Reading

Do you love reading? In this challenge, take a photo of yourself or your family reading in an interesting way. KS2 children were shown examples on World Book Day and younger children the following week.   Please print out the picture or email to your teacher or Mrs Furness (cfurness2nrh@nsix.org.uk) by 26th March 2018.  Will you have the winning picture? Remember be extreme but safe.
