Basketball League The second match day for basketball was a very successful day for both teams. The year 6 team winning both of their games 16-2 and 14-8. The year 5 team did amazing well, winning their first game and drawing the second game. Amazing performances from both teams that showed great team work and spirit throughout the match day. Third match is Tuesday 17^th March.

The boys had a slow start to the tournament losing their first game after conceding some early goals in the game. The second game was a similar start in which they conceded early and just couldn’t find the goal to come back into the game. The third and fourth games were better performances and they were more dominant in these games but couldn’t find to the goals to win the games. They ended by drawing both of these games. Great performances from all of the boys who attended the tournament and a massive well done. 

The girls’ performances that they put in did not show through on the score line, falling narrowly in the first two games losing by 1 goal. The third game did not go their way, ending in a draw and the final game they lost. However all the girls involved showed really determination and team spirit even when things were not going their way. A massive well done to all the girls that took part.

Just before half term, 18 pupils from Year 2 upwards when to Earlham Park to participate in the Norfolk Schools Partnership Cross Country event.   They all had a great day and enjoyed considerable success.  In year 2,  Igor came 1^st  and Isaac finished 2^nd which is amazing.  Matilda, also in Year 2 came 1^st in the girls competition and Primrose finished in the top 10.  Fabulous.  Florence in Year 3 came 1^st and the other Year 3s, Ingrid, George and Hugo respectfully came in the top 20.  In Year 4 Leo came 2^nd and Georgie and Killian finished in the top 10 and 20 respectively. In Year 5 Risard came 5^th, Olivia 12^thand Sophia and Tymoteusz both finished in the top 40.  In year 6 Kaiser, Adas and Isabella all came in the top 25.   A fabulous result by all.

In late October, 18 pupils went to the Schools Partnership Tag Rugby tournament at the Crusaders Club in Little Melton.   One team came second in the group which put them in the Cup tournament and finished 3^rd in their group.  We await confirmation of their final place.  The other team finished 3^rd in their group by try difference and finished top of their group in the Plate.  Again we await confirmation of their final place.    Incredibly well done all.   Mr Palmer was so pleased with the sportsmanship of all competitors in both tournaments.
