The PTFA is a group of parents, friends and staff who join together to raise money for extras at our school or we put money towards bigger costs such as the Spiritual Garden. However, we are not just here to raise money, but also to organise social events which are beneficial and fun for all of us. We hold several events during the school year including discos for the children, shopping evenings, the Christmas and Summer Fairs, Quiz nights, Movie Nights, Coffee Mornings, etc.
All staff and parents automatically become members of the PTFA and you are welcome to attend our informal committee meetings. We would really like some new faces to join us. It is a good way of meeting other parents and teachers. Committee Meetings take place in the staffroom. If you want to get involved or have any questions or suggestions, please speak to any PTFA Member or drop a note into the school office marked ‘PTFA’ with your email/phone number. New ideas are always welcome.
But don’t be put off if you are unable to get to meetings as you can still get involved. Drop us a note of your email address and we can then email any minutes from meetings along with any requests for help as part of a circular to all interested. Please get involved if you can and persuade a friend too!
